Brannie Ties trading terms and conditions
Our trading terms are set in place to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible for you our customer and for us as your supplier. We do not ever share any information passed onto us, all details will be kept private & confidential. If you do not want your tie/scarf or any other items designed & supplied by Brannie Ties appearing on our website please inform us via email and we will remove it immediately without bias.
When placing an order for ties, scarves, or any other bespoke item we will require the following detailed information from you. Full address including post code, Mobile and/ or landline number, email address.
Ties/Scarves– We will need to know the type of material you require, the colour and size you require, If you are having a crest/logo we will require a detailed copy to create an accurate representation of your crest /logo and where it will be placed on the ties/scarves. We cannot stress enough how important it is that you provide Brannie Ties, with all the correct information regarding the designs, such as dates, correct spelling, specific colours and material/sizes, as we will use this information to create your artworks, samples and final production. Brannie Ties cannot be held responsible for failings to follow the above important details of your order.
It is your responsibility to ensure all and any artworks, are checked and confirmed. text and dates and colours are correct, as this directly affects the end product.
Enamels- Cufflinks/ pin badges/ slides/jewels/tokens. We will require the size and type of material for any enamels we manufacture, nickel, gold, silver finish & type of fastening.
It is your responsibility to check all artworks are correct before proceeding to production.
Bespoke Samples- We highly recommend having a physical sample made to ensure that the colours, sizes, design, any dates, and names are all correct pre-production of the main order. If you proceed to the main order, using only the artwork as approval, we cannot be held responsible if any dates, names or colours are incorrect, as screen resolutions and paper printouts are not a true representation of woven fabric or printed material or enamel colours, and cannot be rectified after the order has been completed.
All woven & printed samples that proceed to order are free of charge (the samples that do not proceed to order must be paid for in full) ,+ any other charges that are applicable to the production of said items/items.
Bespoke samples.
Woven Tie samples - Charged at £45.00ea + vat Printed tie samples charged at £45.00ea + vat + any other charges where applicable (screens @ £30.00 per colour) (only applicable to printed ties.)
Screen printed & Digitally printed Scarves - Sample – Charged at £45.00ea + vat + any screens where applicable @ £30.00ea/per colour + vat.
Digitally printed scarves - Charged at £65.00ea + vat ‘Polyester’ & £85.00ea + vat ‘Silk’.
Accessories - Sample costs will vary depending on the complexity of the design (please enquiry for more details)
Any bespoke accessory samples that proceeds to order will have 85% of the sample charge refunded, when the order proceeds. NOTE - for overseas orders, VAT is not chargeable unless your local government charges vat.
Payment terms- All goods must be paid for after approval of sample/artwork and before delivery of goods, unless previous agreements have been agreed upon in writing. Bespoke samples must be paid for within 30 days of receipt. Orders cannot be cancelled after approval to proceed to production has been given. (The total value of the order placed must be paid in full if the order is cancelled after 3 days of giving approval to proceed). Trade customers can have up to 30 days credit after an initial trading period (2 orders), if trading terms are broken the account reverts back to payment before delivery of goods. If our trading terms are broken Brannie Ties has the right to purse all debt or monies owed through the courts without prejudice Note – all bespoke samples that DO NOT proceed to order must be paid for in full within 4 weeks from delivery.
Because every item we produce and supply is bespoke to each customer, WE WILL NOT ACCEPT A RETURN OF GOODS AS SETTLEMENT OF DEBT.
